A Day in the Life
In the role of Inventory Control Specialist at Monster Energy, you'll harness the power of our dynamic brand to ensure the precision and vitality of our inventory systems. You'll be at the forefront, energizing the daily maintenance and accuracy of data within SAP. Your mission includes performing daily counts to keep our inventory levels roaring with reliability and efficiency. Embrace the thrill of maintaining the heartbeat of Monster Energy's supply chain!
The Impact You’ll Make
- Maintain current inventory levels, control the outflow and inflow of inventory
- Record purchases, maintain database, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports
- Develop inventory process enhancements, investigate daily inventory issues and determine resolution
- Lead the annual inventory process in collaboration with accounting
- Assists in developing and initiating control policies and procedures and in planning activities that relate to inventory control in the organization
- Maintain first expired, first out (FEFO) inventory management method for perishable goods across distribution centers
- Analyze inventory statistics to determine which products are selling the most and which are under-performing, analyzing weeks on hand for individual stock keeping units (SKUs)
- Process and document returns as required following established procedures
- Track inventory maintenance and keep management up to date regarding inventory inflow and outflow; compile inventory information and present it to management with recommendations for effective decision-making, which may include the need for restock or for quick resolution of issues
- Support management in training department personnel, scheduling work assignments, and monitoring quality controls
Who You Are
- Prioritize a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar field of study
- Desired additional experience: 1-3 years of experience in inventory control positions
- Desired additional experience: experience in
- Desired computer skills: Advanced Excel skills, including: creating spreadsheets, pivot tables and charts, using and writing formulas and functions, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, using sort, filter, and other data analysis functions
- Desired additional knowledge or skills: Familiarity with SAP and EDI programs is a plus
What We Offer
Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $22 - $30 USD. For United States applicants:
