Responsibilities
- Check units in and out of the auction
- Affix corresponding dealer number on windshields
- Direct traffic and set up cones
- Receive and direct tow units or repossession vehicles
- Stamp and sign Bill of Lading forms
- Turn in Bill of Lading to the correct bin
- Issue keys to dealers and transporters and update notes
- Issue gate passes after hours and fill out gate release form
- Utilize window lock boxes on inoperable consignment vehicles
- Shut hoods and roll up windows of units
- Keep work area clean, police trash
- Assist customers with jump starting units, lockouts, fueling, and tire inflation
- Push units with the push truck/cart when needed
- Escort unauthorized personnel off the property and notify police when necessary
- Ensure all doors are locked and lights are out
- Secure all entrances to the lot
- Patrol buildings/lot/perimeter overnight every two hours checking for breaches
- Monitor cameras
- Complete nightly activity reports
- Receive and pass on information from shift to shift
- Clear path and guide first responders to the area of emergency
- Respond to accidents on the property and fill out and turn in lot damage/theft reports
- Follow all other directions and complete tasks as instructed by management
