Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Leader - Upper Marlboro, MD (Returns Center)

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned ICQA responsibilities and supervise a group of ICQA team members and Inbound Problem Solvers in execution of those quality routines, functions, and research.
• Be responsible for the leadership & development, coaching, and performance management of the training team.
• Provide frequent constructive and critical feedback on work quality to enhance individual performance.
• Lead, develop, and administer performance management, reviews, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Oversee all onboarding and completion of required training for new hires and support overall continued enhancement of the team’s capability.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Root cause quality defects and pre-receipt defects within the operation.
• Analyze the site's operating methods and procedures to identify gaps in inventory control and quality assurance.
• Determine the appropriate methods and problem solving tools to use and implement new practices/procedures, inclusive of leading kaizen and continuous improvement events.
• Implement innovative and creative ways to achieve desired results while collaborating across multiple operational departments to drive quality goals and meet inventory control metrics.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing and competing priorities.
• Ability to navigate web based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Microsoft SharePoint/Microsoft Forms/Smartsheet).
• Six-Sigma/Lean Thinking/Quality Management/Continuous Improvement/Process Engineering experience.
• Strong analytical, operational research, root cause, and problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop team.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures to others.

Pay

The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00. You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

Schedule

The schedule will either be: Sunday through Wednesday approximately 10am to 10pm, Wednesday through Saturday approximately 10am to 10pm. We will know the specific schedule at time of offer.
