Inventory Control Manager

About the role

The Inventory Control Warehouse Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the department across multiple facilities, ensuring accurate inventory levels and adherence to regulatory standards. Reporting to the General Manager of Warehousing, this role involves managing physical inventory, implementing and maintaining inventory control policies, and coordinating daily physical counts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain physical inventory of external customers
• Implement and maintain policy and procedures relating to inventory control
• Ensure compliance with FDA and AIB regulations
• Perform recall and quality holds based on feedback from QA or QRC
• Train production management and QA personnel on proper methods for resolving issues in the warehouse management system
• Develop and execute cycle count programs to ensure inventory and location accuracy
• Generate and distribute weekly reports summarizing inventory accuracy through cycle counts
• Peco & Chep pallet management

Requirements

• Must have 5-10 years of Warehouse Management experience
• 3PL and Synapse WMS experience a plus
• Strong business writing and case analysis skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel, data entry, and general computer abilities
• Experience in warehouse safety and safety training

Qualifications

• Effective communication, reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable speaking in front of others
• Regularly works in an indoor/office environment and uses repetitive hand motions
• Frequently required to talk, hear, stand, and walk
• Able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required
• Able to work under stressful situations, maintain work accuracy, and concentrate on multiple tasks

• Occasionally lifts and moves up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles
• Noisy and dusty working conditions
