Inventory Control Manager

About the role

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory across all departments. This includes ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels, managing supplier relationships, and implementing strategies to reduce waste and improve supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inventory management process to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely deliveries.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
• Monitor stock levels and alert management to potential shortages or excesses.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and meet customer demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
