Summary
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the Distribution Expeditor / Coordinator will join our team to support a dynamic and ever-changing manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
- Understand load planning of routes and trailers specific to what is shipping that week
- Communicate with transportation, sales, and customer aid groups both internally and externally
- Maintain and monitor Outbound shipments
- Manage ship holds
- Expedite and monitor orders through strong communication
- Process ship confirms and end of day in Precision
- Review Stock/Export shipments and process paperwork
- Understand and process batches within ERP system
- Investigate and respond to CARE issues
- Calculate and log Carrier performance for plant
Requirements
- Knowledge in ERP systems, preferably Oracle
- Knowledge in scan guns for pool shipments and load planning
- Knowledge in DOT requirements

- Check Freight
- Load trailers
- Safety Inspections
- Cycle Count/Physical Inventory
