About the role

Join the team within the Camping World Midwest Distribution Center, which operates 24 hours a day across multiple departments including Shipping, Order Picking, Direct to Consumer, Put Away, Inventory, Receiving, and Inbound. You will be assigned to one department with opportunities to cross-train in others. This position is for the M-F 6am-2pm shift and includes roles as Non-Equipment and Equipment Operators (standup forklift, order picker, reach truck, dock truck, walkie rider) based on experience and interest.

Responsibilities

  • Process merchandise according to Camping World policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate distribution.
  • Receive incoming merchandise, sort or count inventory, process orders, pick merchandise, package, and ship merchandise.
  • Verify required inbound/outbound documents/labels to ensure accurate merchandise counts and damage-free product.
  • Use RF Scanners, computers, and handheld printers.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely up to a height of 30 feet.
  • Communicate system and merchandise issues to the Leadership Team.
  • Report issues with equipment, product, or structure immediately.
  • Complete all assigned duties, including general warehouse tasks as business needs require.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Inventory and Returns experience is preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic tasks such as reading, counting, and basic math calculations.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Warehousing, Receiving, or Material Management preferred.
  • Must be a team player with a cooperative mindset.
  • Must be punctual and ready to work.
  • Flexibility in work assignments is essential.
  • Must be willing to cross-train as business needs dictate.
  • Willingness to learn all types of equipment used in the Distribution Center.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistive devices.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $16.65-$20.00 hourly, considering factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
