Inventory Control Cycle Counter

About the role

Help maintain accurate inventory levels by continuously auditing materials and strategically creating acceptable carrying costs.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts on material per cycle count program.
• Review counts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
• Audit materials to maintain accurate inventory of materials.
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
• Assist warehouse, production, engineering, and customer service in locating material.
• Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment.
• Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, and storage, to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
• Apply knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must already have work authorization that permits employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or a closely related field preferred.
• Inventory and cycle counting experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office strongly desired.
