Inventory Control Coordinator I
Job Purpose and Overview
As an Inventory Control Coordinator I at Dawn Foods, you are accountable for maintaining inventory accuracy within assigned facility by following established inventory control procedures, ensuring inventory accuracy within SAP and accurate reporting in SAP. This includes all finished goods product movements to, from, and within the distribution center.
What Does It Take to Be an Inventory Control Coordinator I at Dawn Foods?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum six months of combined warehouse experience including inventory control and utilizing material handling equipment.
- High level of decision-making ability with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office Tools, SAP, email, system navigation, Internet).
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capacity to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, and team player.
- Capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
What You'll Do as an Inventory Control Coordinator I
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile variances
- Reviews returned product for proper credit disposition and credit code reporting
- Liaison to Dawn sites for product traceability, hold and recalls
- Works closely with sales and procurement on slow moving and distressed inventory reconciliation
- Conducts and leads year-end physical inventory process
- Maintains WMS slot logic and numbering of slot
- Compiles data from sources such as purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and writes, types, or enters information into computer (SAP) to maintain inventory.
Work Environment
- Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 60 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- Required to walk, sit, stand, climb stairs, tolerate heights and below zero temperatures.
- Normal setting for this job is warehouse.

Pay and Benefits
Compensation Range: $42,870 to 64,300 salary range with bonus potential
