Responsibilities

  • Ensures all retail inventory is received and distributed on time to local clubs, impacting member experience and operational success.
  • Receives inventory multiple times a week at the Chuze warehouse hub and maintains the warehouse in a clean and organized fashion.
  • Regularly reviews and completes all department and Chuze-provided training materials and updates to ensure current knowledge and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintains effective and collaborative cross-divisional communication with all field departments and the Home Office.
  • Ensures timely delivery of all assigned inventory, loading and unloading Chuze company trucks.
  • Leverages a WMS (Warehouse Management software) to conduct accurate reporting and shipping and receiving data.
  • Manages and controls all retail inventory for local clubs.
  • Completes administrative tasks promptly, including email management and communication.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an inventory or shipping and receiving role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Organized, accountable, able to set, reach and prioritize goals.
  • Capacity to receive and deliver constructive feedback.

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements, including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed.
  • Ability to use equipment such as a dolly, pallet jack, forklift, etc.
