Inventory Control Clerk - Second Shift
Penske Logistics is looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our team at our North Little Rock, Arkansas location. This role is ideal for safety-conscious individuals with a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

Pay
$21.00 base rate + $1.00 shift differential.
Schedule
Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Ensure system count matches physical inventory and resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level.
- Become certified on forklift equipment (training provided).
- Locate missing product in storage locations and update WMS to match physical inventory through various methods.
- Research and document root causes of inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper rotation of product, analyze reports to identify rotation issues, and physically move product as required.
- Accurately receive inventory and work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory.
- Audit inbound receipts both physically and through receipt documentation.
- Accurately induct cross-dock inventory.
- Accurately input required data elements into WMS and other applications, and audit existing data for inaccuracies.
- Manage unsalable inventory to resolution, including documenting product recalls and physically segregating recalled items.
- Work with procurement on product expiration and product holds to final resolution.
- Accurately record dump/donate and other product dispositions.
- Ensure appropriate signage is accurately located in the distribution center.
- Work with inventory management to document and train inventory procedures for warehouse operations.
- Assist with daily and weekly reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of special projects and tasks.
- Perform all other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
- Previous inventory experience in a warehouse setting is strongly preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
- Knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applications.
- Experience using handheld computers/scanners.
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment and occasionally move product in the warehouse.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and work at the specified location.
- Must complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening.

- Must be able to see and verbally communicate.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must frequently move, stand, walk, and sit.
- Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
