Inventory Control Clerk

A Day in the Life

An Inventory Specialist at Albertsons Companies Inc. plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and driving timely execution of manufacturing orders. Key responsibilities include:

• Keying manufacturing orders, transfers, and labor assignments into the operating system with precision
• Tracking and returning finished goods and raw materials in alignment with production activity
• Performing cycle counts and inventory audits based on current manufacturing orders
• Maintaining inventory records and enforcing adjustments to ensure stock accuracy
• Working directly with warehouse teams to monitor product movement and resolve discrepancies
• Cooking with management to align inventory procedures with production objectives
• Executing clerical tasks such as filing invoices and maintaining inventory documentation
• Carrying out annual inventory processes and physical count procedures

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of six months warehouse and inventory experience
• Experience working with a manufacturing environment operating system
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet applications
• Strong math skills, including percentages and basic calculations
• The ability to follow safety protocols and operational procedures
• The ability to read, understand, and execute written instructions and documentation
