What You’ll Do
- Support operations and Materials department by maintaining accurate counts and reconciling SAP to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Verify Production Confirmation reports and WIP and finished goods.
- Correct errors and monitor inventory locations and accuracy.
- Provide inventory counts across various areas including tooling, raw materials, WIP, vendor stock rooms, and own finished goods stock rooms.
- Work independently and collaborate with leads and supervisors on cycle counting inventory.
- Identify and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Report inventory issues or confirmations in the Accountability meeting.
- Collaborate with production teams and external suppliers to investigate and validate inventory shrinkage, implementing corrective actions and tracking outcomes.
- Perform daily and weekly cycle counts of On-hand inventory.
- Ensure compliance with IATF and ISO 14001 work instructions and maintain documentation control for Bills of Lading.
- Resolve internal audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Support MRO goods receipts, ensuring timely and accurate system transactions and inventory updates.
- Operate forklifts as needed to maintain workflow continuity.
- Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Use personal protective equipment as required by the safety policy.
- Support self-directed work teams and understand and perform BN Quality Policy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
