Inventory Control Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels to support production efficiency and maximize product availability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly physical counts of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
• Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
• Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system data.
• Aid with quarterly and annual inventory audits.
• Generate inventory reports and communicate stock levels to production and purchasing teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certificate in inventory control, accounting, or related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine warehouse duties.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
