About the Role

As an Inventory Control Clerk Level 1, you will apply basic counting and issuing skills for aerospace details. You will pull work orders for the manufacturing floor, receive finished details from work orders and purchase orders, and verify that details have no defects while handling them. This role requires the ability to work well as a team member and independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue parts or tooling, storekeeping, and inventory control.
• Perform cycle counting, scanning, and document control.
• Maintain housekeeping and move parts and materials as needed.
• Participate in basic stores functions to support internal customers and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Meet output and efficiency expectations with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Identify and escalate problems or exceptions to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate information clearly, both written and verbally.
• Interpret and update work order documentation and other production documents.
• Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment to support stores functions.
• Move parts and materials between work centers and buildings.
• Work under limited oversight with a proactive, positive attitude.

Requirements

• Legible handwriting, organizational ability, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to identify variances and solve problems.
• Relevant computer experience, including basic PC skills.
• Strong math skills and basic understanding of router operations and sketches.
• Know when to ask for clarification.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
• This position is subject to U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.

Working Conditions

• Use of protective clothing, goggles, helmets with protective lenses, and other equipment to prevent burns and eye injuries.

Pay

Pay Range: $20/hr to $31.6/hr
