Inventory Control Clerk

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Clerk will manage the supplies and products coming in and out of the facility and keep accurate counts of stored items in the warehouse.

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Data entry experience is highly preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management software or systems.
• Investigate and diagnose any discrepancies between reported transfer amounts or locations and computer records.
• Conduct daily inventory checks and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Develop or improve upon inventory management procedures.
• Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy of records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Condition And Physical Requirements

• Work is normally performed in an office and/or warehouse environment.
• Physical demands of the position are sitting, standing, walking, and lifting.
• May require working in a variety of weather conditions and may involve exposure to dust, fumes, and other airborne particles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs at one time.
