Inventory Control Clerk

About the role

This position is responsible for maintaining the overall accuracy of the warehouse inventories, ensuring no material shortages result from inaccurate inventories.

Responsibilities

• Controls inventory levels by reconciling with the SAP WMS and conducting physical counts when necessary.
• Coordinates with Production Planning to ensure accurate distribution of necessary materials for scheduled production.
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance to manage received and inventoried raw materials in accordance with policies and handling procedures.
• Performs daily reconciliations after order confirmations have been completed.
• Oversees the handling of the daily cycle counting program and performs required inventory adjustments.
• Establishes the list of materials to be cycle-counted.
• Responsible for Kosher certifications.
• Member of the Recall Team; performs mock recalls on a regular basis.
• Serves as a back-up for the Raw Material and Receiving Manager.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in inventory control.
• Computer skills: Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Good organizational, phone, and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, organized, and able to resolve conflict.
• Working knowledge of the Inventory Tracking System.
• Must be able to attend work as scheduled.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to perform basic math problems.
• Must be able to perform the jobs of team members when necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to interact with others in a professional manner.

Pay

$21 - $31.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
