Position Summary
The Inventory Associate will perform standard inventory warehouse functions. This includes picking items for orders, putting away inventory receipts and replenishing inventory from bulk storage to a picking location.
Essential Functions
- Processing all orders received in the same day for shipment
- Performing cycle counts on a daily basis to verify accurate system quantities as well as ensure shelf life of sterile products
- Bagging and bulk storing incoming inventory
- Replenishing items from a bulk to a picking location
- Picking items and sets to fulfill customer and in-house departmental requests
- Entering item data related to order transactions into the software system
- Maintaining Finish Goods Warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
- Maintaining inventory items in a first-in/first-out basis
- Identifying, picking, and organizing surgical sets from the proper location
- Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
- Ensuring Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
- Representing the company in a professional manner and upholding the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one-year experience working in a Finished Goods Warehouse environment
- Ability to follow procedures as well as take initiative, team player
- Experience using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills
Physical Demands
- Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Required to possess specific vison abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.
