Inventory Control Clerk-2nd Shift -$19.75/hr

About the role

This position is located at Petco Distribution Center in Cranbury, NJ. We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. This role is full-time and operates on a 2nd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

- Conduct inventory cycle counts and adjusted stock counts to ensure the accuracy of supplies stocked in the warehouse. - Enter data via 10-key by touch. - Operate equipment such as Cherry Pickers. - Maintain accuracy of the Warehouse Librarian computer database. - Research and identify product numbers, obtain SKU numbers, and locate merchandise within the warehouse. - Promote and observe established safety procedures. - Assist in quarterly and annual inventories. - Perform special projects as assigned.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED. - Basic math proficiency and working knowledge of computer fundamentals. - Previous Distribution clerical experience, including 10-Key by touch and basic office support duties, is preferred.

Qualifications

- Ability to efficiently create complex documents and reports using spreadsheet software (Excel). - Proficiency in typing correspondence and documents using MS Office software including Outlook and Word. - Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday 3:45pm - 2:15am, Overtime as needed
