Inventory Control Associate II

Job Duties

• Receives deliveries daily.
• Performs truck inspection before accepting the load.
• Verifies product and quantity received matches bill of lading (BOL) and delivery schedule to ensure proper invoicing.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
• Partners with Quality Assurance team on the collection of green coffee samples for testing which includes moisture and temperature.
• Communicates with Roasting and Grinding/QA team on the staging of green coffee deliveries.
• When applicable, properly receive products against PO’s and upload documents to NetSuite, notifying relevant parties/individuals of parcels.
• Operates a powered lift truck to perform job duties.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Performs all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years' experience monitoring product quality.
• 1-2 years of certified forklift experience.
• Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions while working with recipes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
