Inventory Control Associate

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Control Associate to assist with the handling of our media broadcast equipment and gear. This role involves accurately tracking and documenting inventory, performing physical counts, and coordinating repairs and disposals.

Responsibilities

• Receives inventory Purchase Orders (POs) and barcodes assets to enter into the R2 reservation system.
• Creates product templates for all new equipment.
• Performs inventory cycle/physical counts for both serial and non-serial equipment.
• Receives parts & supplies that have been purchased.
• Create new inventory barcodes as needed.
• Cook logistics for equipment repairs as needed for their warehouse.
• Retro/Dispose of gear in R2 as needed.
• Order expendables for orders in their warehouse as needed.
• Assist in the organization, layout, and cleaning of the warehouse.

Requirements

• A general understanding of inventory concepts and purchasing standards.
• Experienced in vendor contact and negotiation techniques.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel/Word).
• Commitment to following documented processes and procedures.
• Solid communication skills, both written and oral.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills to cope with a fast-paced environment.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and in a small group situation.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in purchasing / inventory control position preferred.
• Experience with large data sets and reporting a plus.
• Knowledge of R2 software a plus.

Pay

Full-Time hourly position, Monday through Friday 9am - 6pm onsite at our Grapevine, TX location. There will be some overtime as needed.

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday through Friday 9am - 6pm onsite at our Grapevine, TX location. Overtime may be required.
