Inventory Control Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preproduction kitting by preparing and staging materials required for scheduled builds.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
  • Execute order picking for internal and external orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently, including receiving, storing, replenishing, and transferring stock as required.
  • Support inventory transactions in the ERP/WMS system, ensuring all movements are properly recorded.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow and prevent shortages.
  • Absorb inventory issues or shortages promptly to the Inventory Manager.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and basic inventory management practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving materials as needed.
  • Experienced in manual and powered material handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
