Responsibilities
- Performs cycle at the beginning of every month to ensure inventory accuracy, and security of company’s merchandise.
- Follows company’s scanning policy, and reports all discrepancies to management.
- Investigates all unallocated merchandise.
- Ensures all IST’s and transfers are done properly.
- Verifies all customer pick-ups are picked and finalized correctly.
- Trains all warehouse, when needed, to properly locate merchandise to reduce inaccuracy.
- Prepares reports recording accuracy and recovery of all inventory.
- Investigates shortages of inventory and recommends measures to be implemented to prevent shortages.
- Reports all scanned short and scanned sold to inventory manager to resolve incorrect merchandise.
- Reports all damaged merchandise to management including pictures for security.
- Accepts responsibility for safety and security of all company property in assigned area.
- Maintain equipment and work area is in clean and orderly condition.
- Maintains records and files in an orderly condition.
- Perform duties in accordance with company’s safety rules and operating regulations and practices.
- Report any unsafe conditions or practices.
- Undertake and support any policy, change, system or work rules the company implements regarding the purpose of this position.
- Must be able to left, stoop, bend, push or pull up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to sit/stand for an eight hour shift.
