About the role
The Inventory Control Associate I plays a vital role in ensuring accurate inventory management within a warehouse, retail, or distribution environment. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory records, performing regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting efficient stock control processes. The role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
Schedule
Fully in office: Monday - Friday (10:00 am - 6:30 pm)
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Track stock movements, including receiving, stocking, and shipping activities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify relevant teams of restocking needs.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to optimize processes.
- Use inventory management systems and software to track and update stock information.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and safe inventory area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or a related role is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory management software or WMS.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Equipment experience (wave, forklift, reach truck).
- Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as required.

Pay
Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $19.50. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
