Inventory Control Associa

About the Role

At Imperial, we sell, distribute, and service General Merchandise, Seasonal Products, and Health/Beauty/Wellness Products to our customers. As an Inventory Control Associate, you will identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts through the pick module levels and throughout the warehouse
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Drive cherry picker (PIT)
• Process vendor inventory pulls
• Use RF technology scanner and count assigned location ranges
• Research exception reports, while understanding and solving future issues
• Research inventory errors throughout multiple departments
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards
• Follow all module safety trainings and requirements
• Serve as a possible floater to other Imperial warehouses
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards
• Help maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Perform housekeeping tasks to keep the warehouse clean and safe
• Use basic computer skills
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills (able to use a login and password and follow simple instructions)
• Previous experience helpful; one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Excellent math skills required; ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide complex numbers
• Ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance
