About The Role

We're looking for a sharp, driven Inventory Control & Materials Manager to own one of the most critical functions in our operation. This isn't a clipboard-and-spreadsheet role — you'll be the linchpin between purchasing, production, quality, logistics, and finance, making sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time, every time. If you thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments, love solving problems before they become crises, and take real pride in accuracy and process excellence, we want to talk.

What You'll Own

  • Materials & Availability — Raw materials, packaging, consumables, and finished goods. You own shortages, escalations, and production readiness.

  • Inventory Accuracy — Cycle counts, audits, adjustments, FIFO compliance, reconciliation, and transaction integrity across all facilities.

  • Traceability & Compliance — Lot verification, label compliance, drop zones, trailers, warehouses, and suites. You'll be the backbone of our audit readiness.

  • Food Safety & Quality — Supporting SQF, GMP, and HACCP requirements through disciplined inventory control and material traceability.

  • Reporting & Analysis — KPIs, variance reporting, trend analysis, month-end and year-end reconciliations, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Team Leadership — Building, developing, and holding accountable a team of inventory professionals who take as much pride in the work as you do.

  • Safety — Championing a safe working environment, ensuring forklift certification compliance, and leading by example on material handling best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in inventory control, warehouse management, materials management, or supply chain operations

  • 3–5 years managing people in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing experience is a big plus)

  • Strong ERP experience — Deacom preferred

  • Proven track record with cycle count programs, audit compliance, and discrepancy resolution

  • Deep understanding of FIFO, receiving compliance, and warehouse operations

  • Analytical mindset with strong Excel skills and a love for data-driven decisions

  • Cross-functional collaborator who communicates clearly and acts with urgency

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred

  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) a plus

  • SQF/GMP/HACCP experience or certification preferred

  • Lean or Six Sigma knowledge a plus

Work Schedule
