About the role
The Supply/OF Inventory & Material Manager is responsible for end-to-end ownership of inventory, materials planning, and operational execution for attachments, kits, tires, decals, trailers, and related programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage ordering, receiving, storage, transfers, and control of approximately 3,500 attachment and component SKUs
- Maintain inventory for attachments, kits (camera, road light, artic, immobilizer, RPM), tires, generators, and trailers
- Oversee perpetual inventory counts, reconciliation, and corrective actions to ensure accuracy
- Manage OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages) items through resolution
- SAP & Work Order Controls: Maintain SAP transactional accuracy, including: COGI error monitoring, review, and resolution; work order accrual review and correction of incorrect TECOs; validation of part usage and resolution of incorrect or unclear work order requirements
- Cross-functional coordination: Coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain to correct out-of-stock issues and usage discrepancies
- Planning, Forecasting & Reporting: Support forecast planning in collaboration with Key Accounts; prepare and maintain: Weekly and Monthly Shortage Reports; Attachment Schedule Reports; Perpetual Inventory (PI) Dashboards and KPI reporting; analyze inventory trends and risks; recommend corrective or preventive actions; log analysis results
- Logistics, Vendors & Programs: Manage drop shipments, including returns processing and documentation; oversee decals for multiple customer accounts (ordering, storage, shipping); maintain live links, manuals, and documentation for customer programs (e.g., Aertssen); manage trailer and generator inventory, including ordering, receiving, and ongoing maintenance; maintain tire master data, work order accruals, descriptions, and storage controls
- Financial & Administrative Controls: Review and approve freight and invoice charges related to inventory and logistics; ensure financial accuracy related to inventory valuation, accruals, and work order impacts; support audits through accurate documentation and system alignment
- Continuous Improvement & Collaboration: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, service level, and efficiency; serve as a key liaison between Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance; support dashboard development and data accuracy for leadership visibility
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management, materials management, or supply chain operations
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (inventory, work orders, COGI, accruals)
- Proven experience managing complex inventories and multiple product categories
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, heavy equipment, or attachment-based operations
- Advanced Excel or BI/dashboard reporting experience
- Experience supporting key customer accounts or custom programs
