Responsibilities
- Maintain oversight of policies and procedures related to inventory auditing.
- Analyze and interpret audit results to recognize and report on high-risk situations.
- Evaluate audit data to recommend appropriate audit frequencies based on identified risks.
- Interface with on-site auditors and outsourced vendors to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
- Communicate audit findings and trends to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the management of problem accounts, including those in SOT, bankruptcy, or liquidation status.
- Support the workout group in managing liquidations and other distressed accounts.
- Participate in due diligence and dealership monitoring processes as needed.
- Evaluate and report on the performance of the audit vendor for scheduling and quality metrics.
Qualifications
- Understanding of automotive dealership operations and commercial lending practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Persuasive communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding risk management.
- Flexible hybrid work environment and occasional overtime may be required.
- Experience working in an AI-enabled environment, including using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.
