About the role
This role oversees all material movement into inventory as well as extensive tracking and tracing of cultivation related items from plants through finished product at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inventory
- Responsible for Receiving all orders and products and adding items to inventory.
- Controls the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance, and developing protocols for loss of mitigation.
- Handles all incoming products that are shipped to our warehouse, adding, tracking, and also reordering products as needed.
- Manages and documents inventory tracking system to record deliveries and shipments.
- Evaluates deliveries, shipment, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Documents daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory.
- Ensures all required paperwork is properly filled out and submitted prior to allowing material to move in or out of inventory.
- Ensures the accuracy of inventory records through proper paperwork and cycle counts.
- Anticipates material received through the tracking of open purchase orders.
- METRC Compliance
- Accurately updating and maintaining records in the METRC system.
- Assess regulated material such as package tags, immature lots, flower lots etc., and make necessary updates to ensure facility compliance.
- Collects detailed notes and observations of changes in compliance.
- Tracking plant life cycle, from cultivation to sale.
- Documenting waste disposal and inventory adjustments.
- Fluency in building management / track and trace systems, cannabis production management software.
- Delegation of necessary compliance related SOPs to the facility and follow through solutions.
- Master and learn basic principles of cultivation of SOPs and sanitation of the field and apply them in a limited manner.
- Assists others as part of a team to accomplish cultivation goals set forth by management.

- Physical Demands
- Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
- Close visual focus required.
- Requires strong technical skills and familiarity with computer software.
- Additional Requirements
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday.
- Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required.
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
- Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time.
- Able to operate Forklift and pallet jacks.
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool.
- Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
