What You Will Do as an Inventory Clerk
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments compared to internal reporting and packing lists.
- Accurately count, record, and update inventory transactions in Excel and company inventory management system.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Label, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, overages, or damaged goods.
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
- Assist with student classes as needed.
- Operate fit center equipment including pallet jack for unloading inventory and dolly.
- Drive company box truck for picking up and delivering palleted shipments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor to support the team.
Skills For Success
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or inventory control experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
