About the role
As an Inventory Clerk, you will play an important part of the Inventory team by ensuring accuracy of inventory, efficient organization, and execution of inventory processes. You’ll be working with products from clients heavily involved in the active lifestyle. Success in this role means effective communication and interaction across all levels of the facility to ensure inventory issues and tasks are handled in a timely and appropriate manner.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 1:30 pm–10:00 pm
Pay
Starting pay: $19.50 an hour (includes $1 shift differential)
Responsibilities
- Conduct inventory cycle counts, audits, lost and found, and inventory reporting
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, track, and report them
- Follow NRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol, and standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Keep work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
- Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
- Experience with basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS)
- Highly compliant and accurate individual
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Trustworthy and moral character (pre-employment background & drug tests required)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to:
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Walking and standing for extended periods
- Climbing ladders/stairs
- Working at heights in elevated areas
- Tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, and cold
- Ability to gain narrow aisle forklift certification
