Inventory Clerk

About the Role

At Chart, we design and build some of the world’s most advanced cryogenic equipment. Our customers bring us challenges, and from concept to commissioning, you’ll help create solutions supporting industries like aerospace, clean energy, food and beverage, and more. This role operates under general supervision, resolving basic to moderate issues while adhering to ISO 45001 standards at our certified site.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and verify against clerical computations; identify and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with reconciling actual stock counts to office records.
• Compute figures from sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to determine current inventory levels.
• Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; restock items and label shelves.
• Work with vendors and purchasing agents to prepare deliveries.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing.
• Previous inventory-related experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and basic math skills with accuracy.
• Available to work overtime and weekend hours as needed.
• High school diploma or GED.
• JDE knowledge and forklift experience are pluses.

Physical Work Environment

Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle objects/tools, talk, or hear. Must stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to stand/walk for up to 8–10 hours daily and lift 30 lbs. regularly. Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.
