Inventory Clerk (A-shift)
About the role
We have an exciting Inventory Clerk opportunity in our Processing Plant in Guymon, OK. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the Shipping team. The Inventory Clerk will maintain and update all aspects of inventory within the warehouses. Reconciles discrepancies in inventory and notifies Management of irregularities. Communicates all inventory inquires through proper channels.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and updates current inventory levels using existing processes and procedures.
- Performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to WMS generated reports.
- Performs inventory cycle counts, verifies and reconciles on current WMS system.
- Transfers, relocates, & receives Finished Goods using RF scanners.
- Documents and reports all discrepancies to Management daily for submission & filing.
- Performs data entry using existing or updated spreadsheets or systems on Microsoft, WMS, & AS400.
- Discusses & answers questions on certain inventory via email, in person, or telephone daily.
- Works with Corporate office personnel on existing inventory allocation and/or disposition.
- Leading role in the annual physical inventory checks and balances.
- Able to operate pallet jack, sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift and high reach forklift.
Qualifications
- Preferred High School or GED.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Schedule
The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Must be available to work A or B or C shifts when needed or as assigned.
Work Environment
- Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves more than 100 pounds.
- Routinely works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions.
- Consistently working in environment ranging from +35 to -20 degrees.
