Inventory Clerk (2nd Shift)

GENERAL FUNCTION The Distribution Clerk processes merchandise as it is received by the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Unloads semi-trucks, package trucks (UPS, Federal Express)
• Signs for, counts, and inspects delivered product
• Sorts and directs packages to processing area
• Processes received product for put away
• Ensures accurate and timely processing of product received
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned

Requirements

• Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Use of ten-key calculator
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisor and Manager
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40-60 lbs.
• Ability to work in a standing/walking position for up to 10 hours

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Receiving department
• High School Diploma or GED
