Job Purpose
Inventory Associates are responsible for ensuring that inventory requirements are completed in a timely manner. Detail and organization skills are required to ensure that specifications are followed through for each specific customer. An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
On-Site
- Detail and organization skills are required to ensure that specifications are followed through for each specific item.
- Use any safety-related PPE required equipment and follow all safety guidelines set forth by the company and its supervisors.
- Responsible for safety checks of equipment before usage.
- Pushing production carts to designated areas.
- Pallet jack movement is required.
- Able to move up and down a ladder as needed.
- Reviewing receiving and stocking of supplies for accuracy.
- Maintain integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
- Responsible for completion of daily work orders via scanner/paperwork.
- Assist with inventory counts on a daily basis.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and productive work environment in compliance with OSHA and company directives, using safety-first practices to remain accident-free.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices daily.
- Ensure adherence to company attendance standards.
- Execute company policies, procedures, and programs in a professional, effective, and timely manner.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and operate all facility equipment including computers, calculators, and scanners.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform basic arithmetic functions: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Have a can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic.
- Be very active and require standing and walking.
- Have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Require normal range of hearing and vision.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred with prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
