About the role
This role requires daily monitoring and evaluation of all inventories in VGM fulfillment. Responsibilities include picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. The role is located in Phoenix, AZ, with semi-full-time or full-time hours available.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all locations in the facility
- Learn how to navigate company programs like D365
- Pick location slotting analysis
- Update item classification
- Perform scheduled cycle counts
- Perform inventory adjustments based on calls from the production floor
- Unpick orders (return items from orders picked on the same day)
- Run transaction reports to track down missing inventory
- Locate any missing product or license plates misplaced
- Track and record inventory variance data ensuring it stays within acceptable contractual variance levels
- Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support for the business
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds
- Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management
- Be willing and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives
- Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills
- Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Previous leadership and/or training knowledge
- High school education
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking throughout the facility
- Operation of warehouse machinery and equipment
- Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision, and peripheral vision
- Strict adherence to all safety standards
