About the role
Greiner Industries is seeking an Inventory Associate to manage inventory operations, accuracy, reconciliations, and timely support of enclosure fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and issue materials and other items from stock, warehouse, or storage area to fill shelves, racks, immediate production needs.
- Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs.
- Manage the movement, storage, and processing of inventory.
- Receive goods and certify the quality and count of all items.
- Utilize the ERP systems (SAGE software) to manage material going into inventory as well as moving material from inventory to specific project numbers.
- Perform monthly inventory cycle count audits and year end physical inventory to validate actual quantities in inventory vs the ERP system.
- Notify Purchasing Department of discrepancies, over shipments, and substitutions.
- Transport materials from shipping and receiving area to other locations within the warehouse.
- Prepare ship loose kits with accuracy.
- Build pallets and skids per specifications for outbound shipments.
- Handle sheet metal and sheet stock for outbound shipments.
- Pull inventory to help maintain stock and identify shortages.
- Label and deliver received items throughout the warehouse.
- Delegate and direct tasks to Inventory Associate(s).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
