Inventory Analyst
About the role
The Schebler Company is looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional to join the Operations group as an Inventory Analyst. This role plays an important part in supporting production by helping maintain accurate inventory levels, improving inventory processes, and ensuring materials are where they need to be when they need to be there.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and analyzing inventory levels and trends
- Conducting cycle counts and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accuracy within ERP/inventory systems
- Supporting inventory control and material flow processes
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, Logistics, and Quality teams
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Experience with ERP/inventory systems and Excel
- Thrives in a manufacturing environment
- Enjoys improving processes and finding efficiencies
- Manufacturing or fabrication industry experience is preferred
While performing the duties of this job the employee must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Will occasionally be required to stand; walk; and occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds.
