About the role

The Inventory Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using specialized software
  • Process purchase orders and track their status
  • Prepare and submit invoices for goods received
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or inventory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

  • CPA certification preferred
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
