About the role
The Inventory Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using specialized software
- Process purchase orders and track their status
- Prepare and submit invoices for goods received
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or inventory management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
