About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate, experienced Invasive and Non-Invasive Scheduler to join our team at CardioNow Clinic. You will manage appointments, tests, and provider schedules, focusing on diagnostic procedures like echocardiograms and stress tests rather than surgical interventions. This role coordinates patient care, verifies insurance, and maintains appointment software to ensure efficient clinic workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient appointments for non-invasive cardiac tests (e.g., Echo, EKG, Stress Tests, Holter monitors).
  • Manage provider schedules in the system.
  • Confirm appointments, provide pre-test instructions, and manage patient waitlists.
  • Verify referrals, obtain insurance pre-authorizations, and process necessary paperwork.
  • Liaise between patients, nurses, and cardiologists.
  • Coordinate appointments for new and returning patients and reschedule or cancel them when needed.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Address patient inquiries, provide information about services, and assist with prescription refill requests.
  • Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
  • Perform Patient Service Representative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital or clinic based in cardiology preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one (1) year scheduling experience in an ambulatory surgery facility, acute-care hospital, or doctor’s office.
  • Prior authorization experience required.
  • Athena experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in all areas.
  • Able to work independently in high-pressure situations.

Location

You will work out of the Lynnwood, WA office.

Pay

Full-time hourly rate of $24–$25 an hour.
