About the role

IMEG is hiring engineers, surveyors, planners, and geotechnical professionals across its local offices nationwide to support impactful work in site development, transportation, stormwater systems, land use planning, and geotechnical analysis. Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil infrastructure using Civil 3D, GIS, and modeling tools
• Plan and coordinate field surveys, site layouts, and utility systems
• Support permitting, planning approvals, and regulatory documentation
• Contribute to projects in healthcare, education, government, and commercial sectors
• Collaborate across disciplines on community-focused, sustainable design

Requirements

• Experience in civil engineering, land surveying, urban planning, or geotechnical engineering
• Strong proficiency in relevant software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (positions may require travel)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, surveying, urban planning, or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Field experience in relevant areas

Skills

• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
