About the role

We are seeking a full-time, days position at Methodist Hospital, University Hospital, and Riley Hospital for Children. The shift can be either 5-8 hours, Monday-Friday or 4-10 hours, Tuesday-Friday, with some call responsibilities. Preferred candidates must hold CNIM certification.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily functions and workflow of assigned departmental personnel.
  • Supervise Neurophysiology personnel involved in EEG, EMG, EP, IONM.
  • Ensure department rules, regulations, procedures, and protocols are followed.
  • Recognize neurological compromising conditions and communicate them to take appropriate actions.
  • Manage and organize tasks effectively.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the Manager and/or Director.
  • Work independently and manage on-call duties.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experience.
  • Registry in EEG (R.EEG T.).
  • Registry in either CNIM or CLTM by ABRET.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to recognize and communicate neurological compromising conditions.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability to concentrate for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of software applications.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
