Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and/or group support to assigned children in accordance with individual treatment goals.
• Teach social emotional learning (SEL).
• Establish positive, therapeutic relationships with children, and provide counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with educational, human service professionals, and caregivers.
• Use UKERU and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention to maintain a safe environment and to de-escalate a crisis.
• Have effective oral/written skills, and the ability to perform autonomously.

Requirements

• 1 year combination of experience, skills and/or education.
• A valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle.

\$22.75 - \$23.68/ hour

Schedule

Full-time 217 day annual calendar including:

• School year (175 days) with paid days off during school vacations.
• 4 week summer program.
• 2+ weeks in-service for ongoing professional development.
