Interventionist/RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)

Join a team driven by evidence-based care and meaningful outcomes. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Your empathy, patience, and commitment to providing personalized care will help clients achieve their full potential. You will work one-on-one with autistic individuals, applying the science of applied behavior analysis and implementing programming as directed by a Clinical Manager or Clinical Supervisor (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or Assistant Behavior Analyst).

Meaningful Milestones provides trauma-informed ABA to children ages 2-21. You will learn to build relationships with clients, recognize assent behaviors, manage assent withdrawal, and foster cooperation over compliance. You will also learn to incorporate joy into sessions through play, games, singing, and creative activities.

During your first 90 days, you will need to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician credential through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). Meaningful Milestones provides dedicated support to ensure you are confident in your new skills and set up for success.

Responsibilities

• Implement programming as identified on individual client treatment plans as directed by the BCBA or BCaBA.
• Receive and implement direction provided by BCBA or BCaBA while working with a client.
• Complete accurate documentation of client-specific goals with daily data collection via Motivity or other methods in emergency situations.
• Accurately complete session notes in Motivity and obtain signatures from parents.
• Provide at least 15 clinical direct support hours to clients in home, school, or community-based programs.
• Develop and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients, families, and coworkers.
• Assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
• Sit on the floor or stand during sessions.
• Have fun, be silly, be creative, and be yourself!

Requirements

• RBT Certification preferred but not required at hiring; must complete certification within 90 days of hire date if not already certified.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but high school diploma required.
• Valid state driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.
• Able to perform basic math functions.
• Flexible, compassionate, energetic, and hardworking.
• Good time management and organization skills.
• BLS or CPR/First Aid certification required.

Pay

$15–$20/hour for face-to-face client time, $12/hour for training time.
