Interventionist/RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)

Meaningful Milestones LLC · Gaston, SC · 1 wk ago
OTHR$15–$20/hrFull-time

About the role

Join a team driven by evidence-based care and meaningful outcomes. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Your empathy, patience, and commitment to providing personalized care will help our clients achieve their full potential. You will work one-on-one with autistic individuals, applying the science of applied behavior analysis and implementing programming as directed by the Clinical Manager or Clinical Supervisor (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or Assistant Behavior Analyst) from the client’s treatment plan.

During sessions, you will collect data using an electronic data collection system on a tablet provided by Meaningful Milestones. You will engage in activities such as playing games, coloring, jumping on trampolines, singing songs, and teaching clients new skills while celebrating their growth and progress.

Meaningful Milestones provides trauma-informed ABA to children ages 2-21. We focus on building relationships with clients, understanding their assent behaviors, and managing assent withdrawal or non-assent behaviors. Our approach emphasizes cooperation over compliance and prioritizes bringing joy to our clients.

During your first 90 days, you will need to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician credential through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). Dedicated support is provided to ensure you are confident in your new skills and set up for success.

Meaningful Milestones utilizes innovative technology to advance skills and the field of ABA. We partner with the Do Better Collective and serve as a practicum site for those pursuing further education toward becoming a BCaBA or BCBA.
