About the role
The Interventional Technologist position at Menorah Medical Center offers exciting career opportunities in a supportive environment. This role involves completing interventional procedures, adhering to sterile techniques, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Completes interventional procedures including arterial and venous interventional procedures, and complex procedures such as stenting and cerebral coilings.
- Collects and assembles data for database, outcome analysis, and performance improvement.
- Carries out assigned activities to ensure the department operates effectively and efficiently.
- Participates in the on-call rotation and responds within 30 minutes when called.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Two-year program or four-year BA program in Radiology Technology with training in interventional procedures.
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or registry eligibility with examination completion within nine months of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
- Able to accurately complete interventional requisitions and access previous examination reports.
- Experience operating interventional equipment and familiarity with Radiology information systems.
- One year of hospital department experience in arterial and venous interventional radiology.
- On-call requirement with the ability to respond within 30 minutes of call.
