About the role
Join our Interventional Radiology Department at MetroHealth! The department focuses on delivering high-quality patient-centered care and addressing the overall needs of patients while eliminating healthcare disparities.
Responsibilities
- Assists with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures across different service lines.
- Works in a supportive care environment for patients undergoing procedures involving fluoroscopy.
- Functions in a flexible role based on patient and operator needs, adhering to MetroHealth System policies and regulatory requirements.
- Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of MetroHealth.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Possess a valid Radiographer License for the State of Ohio.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain within one year of hire.
- BLS Certification from the AHA or obtain within the standard probationary period.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
Qualifications
- One year of related experience with advanced certification through the ARRT in Vascular Interventional and/or Cardiac Interventional Radiography preferred.
- Experience in the use of computers and sophisticated diagnostic equipment.
- Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and ability to interpret ECGs.
- Experience working with a sterile field using sterile technique.
- Experience operating a C-arm.

- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

- Shift: 0700-1730
