About the Role
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the supervision of a radiologist or physician, utilizing independent judgment and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Execute procedures proficiently, ensuring high quality standards.
- Assist radiologists and physicians with invasive procedures using sterile techniques.
- Prepare and administer contrast materials within scope and protocols.
- Maintain a clean procedure environment and proper supply levels.
- Ensure radiation safety and implement emergency protocols as needed.
- Accurately perform computer functions, data entry, and quality control tasks per regulations.
- Participate in call rotation and stay informed of organizational updates.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- At least one year of experience in radiology or interventional procedures.
- Registered in primary modality, ARRT certified, and SCRQSA certification if required.
- BLS certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment, computers, and data entry.
- Excellent patient treatment skills across all ages.
Work Environment
Non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager, with responsibilities performed during daytime hours in a hospital setting.
