Interventional Radiology Technologist - EP Lab
About the role
Join Community Health Network as an interventional radiography technologist. You will perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, and other procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures, and prepare, administer, and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, and institutional policy.
Responsibilities
- Prepares patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures.
- Ensures all x-ray images are of good quality and maintains x-ray related equipment for procedures.
- Performs the professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
- Effectively communicates with members of the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiology or completion of a certification program in Radiography.
- Current ARRT (R) certification.
- Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana.
