Interventional Radiology Technologist Certified - Cardiac Cath Lab

About the role
Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), you will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. You will ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared, monitor par levels of all instruments and supplies, participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and assist in training new staff. Additionally, you will assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic/therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
- Prepare the procedure room and maintain adequate par levels of instruments and supplies.
- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
- Train new staff members.
- Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT-R and state licensure as required; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
- Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.
- BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Schedule
Full-Time, Day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) with on-call required.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.00 to $52.14 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
